REFUND POLICY

At Smart Owl Readers, we want you to feel confident and supported in your purchase. We stand behind the quality of our products, which is why we offer a generous refund policy on most items.


30-DAY, NO-QUESTIONS-ASKED REFUND POLICY

If you purchase one of our digital courses or programs (such as Level 0: Alphabet Mastery) and you are not satisfied for any reason, simply email us at [email protected] within 30 days of your purchase date.

We will issue a full refund to your original payment method. No questions asked. No forms to fill out. No hoops to jump through.

We believe in what we offer and want every parent to feel great about using our programs with their child.

Eligible products include:
- Level 0: Alphabet Mastery
- Level 1: Sentence Mastery (when available)
- Level 2: Reading Rules Mastery (when available)
- Level 3: Word Blends Mastery (when available)
- Any future digital course or program, unless otherwise stated on the product page


FINAL SALE ITEMS (NO REFUNDS)

Due to the nature of personalized products, we are unable to offer refunds on custom-made items. These include:

- "I Can Write My Name" Workbook: This product is custom-made with your child's name and cannot be resold, reused, or returned.

All sales of personalized products are final, unless there is an error on our part (for example, an incorrect name, missing pages, or a design issue). If we made a mistake, we will either correct and resend the product or issue a full refund.


FREE PRODUCTS

Free downloads and resources (such as ABC Charts, coloring pages, and the Reading Level Quiz) are not eligible for refunds as no payment was made.


ORDER BUMPS AND ADD-ONS

If you purchased an add-on product (such as the Custom Handwriting Booklet) as part of a checkout order bump, refund eligibility depends on the product type:

- Digital, non-personalized add-ons: Eligible for a refund within 30 days
- Personalized add-ons (custom name products): Final sale, no refunds (see above)


HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND

To request a refund, send an email to [email protected] with:
- Your full name
- The email address you used at checkout
- Your order number (if available)
- Which product you would like refunded

Refunds are typically processed within 3 to 5 business days after approval. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 5 to 10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.


CHARGEBACKS

We kindly ask that you contact us directly at [email protected] before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company. We are committed to resolving any issues quickly and fairly. Filing a chargeback without contacting us first may result in delays and additional complications for both parties.
